If you have had a surgery, or if you have a medical condition or an injury, you should explicitly ask your doctor or physical therapist which physical actions are safe for you and which are not safe. Every teacher I've encountered at enso has been warm, welcoming and encouraging, whatever one's level of practice. enso's great strength lies in the diversity and excellence of its teachers. And that, in turn, has led to a rich diverse student body...and we all practice together - old and young, agile and inflexible, practiced and new to the practice of yoga. We are a community. |

restorative yogaSundays, once a month, with Kim
Top off your weekend with a honey-like soothing stretch. Mellow transitions link the longer held postures to each other. It's an ultra slow flow that focuses more on stretch than strength.
We will explore the possibilities within more grounded families of postures: beginning with general structure and moving toward fine tuned micro adjustments. Props will be available to support the open spirit of the practice. Just enough. |
gentle slow flow yogaSundays, once a month, with Mandie
We all need to take it easy on ourselves sometimes. Gentle slow flow is a great class for yogis of all levels of ability to slow down and find ease. This class is taught once a month on Sundays at 11:00 am. In gentle slow flow, you can expect to move your body in a gentle, comfortable way encouraging movement without the potential for strain. This slower, gentle paced class will allow time to find modifications for postures that fit each individual in a no-heat environment.

yin yoga and meditationSundays, once a month, with Camille
Yin style yoga is perfect complement to the more active style of vinyasa yoga which moves from pose to pose while maintaining mindful awareness. Both the active and more quiet yogic practices together can create a sense of balance in the body and mind.
Join Camille one Sunday a month to calm the body and mind by taking time to move slowly and listen deeply. This calming practice will leave you feeling grounded and centered in your body gradually settling into a brief guided meditation practice at the end of class. |
