Curt was fabulous! He beautifully balanced leading the class with his deep knowledge and being attentive to the needs of the participants—where we were. He created a safe atmosphere for people to share and a nice sense of community. He has a gentle and lovely way of sharing his knowledge.
I have the utmost regard and respect for Curt Woolford. He continues to inspire me.

: discover your Inner Warrior with Gwen Soffer
Gwen was amazing!
We had 22 girls and adults attend the workshop, ranging in age from 6 to 45 years old; Gwen’s way of working with all of them, making them feel comfortable but also take themselves seriously, was a real joy to witness. She helped everyone feel solid in their bodies, think about how they carry themselves and what they communicate about themselves to the world, and grow to trust their own power and strength. She also helped girls and adult women develop real skills to stick up for themselves should they find themselves in dangerous situations, without scaring or fostering in them a fear-based mentality. Gwen’s fun, positive, down-to-earth way of showing girls and women how to be strong, confident, and not afraid to protect themselves, was truly an inspiration to all who attended, including me. I highly recommend taking one of Gwen's classes.

What an incredible experience!
Gwen taught the Discover Your Inner Warrior workshop for a group of 30 women from the WOMEN’S WAY Young Women’s Initiative. Gwen’s instruction was clear, thoughtful and motivating. The students were never pressured to do anything they didn’t feel comfortable with and were encourage to truly discover their inner power. It was really incredible to see the participants energy and confidence build through the class as they learned to utilize their powerful voice and bodies to stand up for themselves. Gwen seems to care so deeply for her work and her passion for teaching made the whole experience that much more meaningful. I highly recommend Gwen and the Discover Your Inner Warrior workshop to anyone looking for an inspirational and empowering experience!

Gwen's session with our staff was a great success.
Gwen presented self-defense techniques that were do-able at various levels of strength and fitness, and she reinforced them as a collection of tools from which each of us could draw based on need and confidence. Far beyond the practical value of the course was the respect and empathy with which Gwen delivered the training. Her style felt like an embrace – supportive and entirely free of judgment, enabling staff to come in and out of the flow as they felt most comfortable. This was a gift of knowledge and strength to our most important asset – our employees!
