As a mother and a physician I have limited free time. Combining Power Yoga, Budokon and Budokon Martial Arts has given me an extraordinary outlet that has become an essential part of my life. I have been continually motivated and challenged for years while having fun with little more than a mat, mindfulness and a bit of sweat. My strength, balance, endurance, speed and flexibility have flourished and I have become confident in self-defense. Adam and Gwen are insightful, and patient, encouraging each person to grow at their own pace while they continue to expand their own knowledge. I eagerly look forward to each class. --- enso student - Cindy Dembofsky, MD |

What is Budokon?Budokon is a practice created by Cameron Shayne. It combines yoga and Eastern arts which cultivates the body and mind. The movements and sequences are designed to challenge, prepare, and propel the body to a new level of agility, control, and strength. Budokon allows one to fully explore his or her full range of motion developing a deep awareness of the body and how it moves. Budokon focuses on power, strength and agility while providing flexibility and a greater understanding of your body and its full potential. It is a wonderful art on its own or in conjunction with an existing yoga or martial arts practice. Budokon can be practiced at many levels with Budokon Basics classes as well as full Budokon classes being offered weekly. I have no experience with yoga, can I come as a beginner?Absolutely. Beginners are welcome to any class. We also provide a Monday and Wednesday evening class at 6pm which is oriented toward but not restricted to beginners. We also offer a Budokon beginner’s course offered weekly Tuesday at 9:30am. If you are interested in either the Budokon beginner's class or the beginners Power Yoga please call us at 610-892-9642 or email us at info@experienceenso.com. In both cases we will cover the moves of the practice at a slower pace and address the needs of each individual student. Do you offer memberships, combining all of your classes?Yes! We offer unlimited monthly and yearly memberships that allow the individual to take any of our classes offered, including Power Yoga, Slow Flow, Budokon and Yogic Budokon Flow. 10-class cards and drop-in rates are also available. We believe that each of these arts has something unique to offer and have worked to create the opportunity for our students and practitioners to study, practice and train in all three of the art forms. We do and we love it! What is a private lesson? We offer private lessons by appointment. You may request a private Budokon Martial Arts, Power Yoga or Budokon session with either Adam or Gwen. We will tailor the workout to your needs. Private Lessons run for one hour and are $95. What should I wear and bring to a Power Yoga or Budokon class?Wear comfortable, light weight clothing that you can sweat in. We suggest bringing a towel to class and a water bottle. You should also bring a mat, but if you do not own one, mats can be purchased at enso. Where can I park?Enso has a large and conveniently located parking lot immediately adjacent to its studio in Media on State Street. If you need directions, check our contact us page and click on directions. Do you have programs for Athletes?Yes! Adam and Gwen have created a program specifically for athletes and athletic teams that combines the best of Yoga and Budokon to improve the performance of any athlete. More detailed information along with the many benefits of this type of training can be found on our class descriptions page under "special classes" or by clicking here. |
