This series is designed for both new yoga students and those interested in reconnecting with the basic building blocks of a vinyasa yoga practice. The classes will be slow paced with individualized attention and room for discussion. Emphasis given to safe alignment so that students realize the physical benefits of each yoga posture and yoga sequencing by integrating breath and meditative techniques. This class is a great way to start your yoga practice!
4 week series includes:
Foundation practice sequence, sun salutations, the vinyasa sequence, standing postures
Back bending, forward bending and twisting
Seated postures, hip openers, beginner inversions
Integration and review

This class is open to beginners as well as advanced students. This practice is done in moderate heat and focuses on building strength through your asana. The class will warm up your body with poses linked together with breath. These poses will consist of sun salutations, standing poses, seated poses, balance poses, hip openers and many others.
